Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino County
Foothill Boulevard carries the old alignment of Route 66 through Rancho Cucamonga. Along it stands the Cucamonga Service Station, a small gas station built in 1915, before the highway had a number. Volunteers restored the station and reopened it as a Route 66 museum. A few older roadside businesses survive nearby from the years when the road was the main way west.
